Nice to meet you. I’m Rebecca.

Rebecca is the visionary owner behind Bridal and Beauty by Rebecca Jayne, established in 2021. She discovered her passion for hair and makeup at the young age of 16, when she created her very first wedding look. A proud graduate of the Arts University of Bournemouth with a First Class Honours Degree in Hair and Makeup, Rebecca’s dedication and talent have set her apart in the industry. She has always had a creative flare ever since her first job in a pottery studio, where she was a face painter for children’s birthday parties and summer fayres. Ever since then her passion for being creative grew into wanting people to feel like the best version of themselves. Her exceptional artistry has been recgonized with accolades including finalist status for Makeup Artist of the Year at the Hair and Beauty Awards 2025 in Dorset, and she has been honoured as the winning Hair and Makeup Artist of the Year by HITCHED. Having also worked on the England GB woman’s Hockey team for hair and make up on Anna Toman and Emily Defroand for sporting events.

  • Yes, I offer bridal hair and makeup trials to ensure you are happy with your look before your wedding day. Trials are a great opportunity to discuss your preferences and make any necessary adjustments.It is always good to have your trials on the same day to ensure you know how the overall look will be.

  • For your bridal trial, bring any inspiration photos, wear a white top/dress with a similar neckline to your wedding dress, bring any hair accessories or veils you plan to wear. If you're wishing to have a tan for your wedding please come with a tan for your trial and have clean washed and dried hair from the day prior. 

  • I would recommend booking your bridal hair and makeup trial at least 1-3 months prior to your wedding. To ensure that it is being done in similar conditions to your wedding day. Trials are also to be held on Weekdays only at my home studio in Shaftesbury.

  • I would suggest booking your wedding make up/ hair between 12-18 months prior to your wedding date. as peak season dates go quickly. No wedding is secure without a deposit paid.
